Joe is the Ministry Director at Kalamazoo Youth For Christ. He is married and has three super high-energy boys! Joe has been blessed to have been working in youth ministry since 2010. Kevin is a Project Manager at Stryker Medical. Kevin is also married and has 3 teenage boys so there is never a dull moment in their house! Joe and Kevin have been friends for around 12 or so years, they both love Jesus and have a passion for community/fellowship, and board games.
Mission: Our mission is to generate a Christ-centered community of board gamers who long to bring glory & honor to God in all they do.
How We Accomplish This: We seek to provide quality content & resources that are focused on Jesus, how the Bible applies to our lives, & board games. Through various events and connections, we desire to see believers gather together at the table, fellowship, talk about God, & play some games.
Differences: We may not see things the same as it relates to the Bible & our faith. It is our hope that we can agree on the essential doctrines of our faith (i.e. the personhood & deity of Jesus, & His life, death, & resurrection). We do have a Statement of Faith & we ask that any of those we partner with (i.e. ask to host a podcast, or create a YouTube video) sign this document. This is in place for accountability on all levels including our own. People are not required to sign the statement to participate, we just want to be as transparent & clear as possible as to where we stand as it relates to the Bible & our faith. We take this seriously & also seek to be charitable & gracious concerning all conversations with people we may find ourselves in disagreement with.
